The systems shaping people’s lives should understand the people living inside them.

A Bit About Me

I focus on how people and institutions make consequential decisions when systems scale faster than clarity. Much of my attention sits at the boundary between formal structure and lived responsibility, where accountability exists but guidance is incomplete and human judgment becomes necessary.

I’ve carried that question through Toronto Community Housing, Harvard, Northeastern, TikTok, and Salesforce, with graduate training at MIT and Harvard along the way.

I’m a Director of Responsible AI Product at Salesforce, where I shape product strategy, evaluation, and governance for generative and increasingly agentic systems. Across my career, I have built and led systems that help organizations make consequential decisions under ambiguity, from public institutions and research centers to global technology platforms.

I have spent my career closing the distance between how systems are designed and how people actually experience them.

Earlier in my career, I served as Manager of Partnerships at Toronto Community Housing, a public housing system responsible for more than 58,000 homes. During a period that brought more than $300 million in record government investment, I built cross-sector partnerships and social-entrepreneurship initiatives connecting the organization’s physical transformation with economic opportunity for residents.

I went on to found an education technology company and served as an Innovator in Residence at the Harvard Business School Innovation Lab, building experience across product, organizational design, and operating models.

At Harvard’s Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics, I led the strategy to establish a new research center focused on safety and safety technologies and helped secure its first round of funding, including support from the National Science Foundation. I then joined Northeastern University School of Law as the inaugural managing director of the Center for Law, Innovation and Creativity, helping build a new institutional platform at the intersection of law, technology, and innovation.

At TikTok, I served as the inaugural global strategy lead for Responsible AI, designing and leading a program that improved content-moderation decision-making across 10 markets and 11 languages on a platform serving more than one billion users. I developed a framework connecting product, policy, operations, cultural context, and human judgment, then adapted it across distinct regional and operational environments. The work translated difficult questions about fairness and disparate impact into a system that could operate across languages and contexts at global platform scale.

Today, my focus is the design of trusted agentic systems: how intelligence, authority, responsibility, recourse, and human judgment should be built into products from the beginning.

I hold an MBA from MIT Sloan and a master’s degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education.

I also write about the product and organizational questions emerging from this work, particularly how people and institutions develop sound judgment as increasingly intelligent systems take on more consequential roles.

See how this approach translates into product strategy, technical systems, and decisions made under real-world constraints.
